Admission Guidelines
Available English-taught programs: Medical Doctor, Dentistry, Computer Science.
Application and Registration steps are the same for all programs:
Step 1: Applying
Step 2: Collecting the below-mentioned documents:
Student’s passport (with a valid expiration date).
Student’s photo 3X4.
Full university transcript (signed and stamped) for transfer applicants only.
Note: All transcripts must contain information about the obtained credits (ECTs) per subject, and scores.
Note: Transfer applications can only be considered up to the 5th semester.
High School Certificate (signed and stamped). for first-year applicants only.
A Filled-out application form(make sure to mark the chosen program correctly).
Note: An applicant must download (or print) the application form and fill in the gaps.
Certificate of English language level B2 (or a document confirming studying in an English-language educational program for a minimum 1 year): in the absence of the language certificate, the applicant will be invited to the internal university B2 level English language test.
Step 2: Attending the 5-minute interview
All freshmen applicants will be invited to an online interview, where the admissions officer of Alte University will evaluate English speaking skills and overall motivation of an applicant.
Step 3: Completing internal exams (online)
Passing an online internal university test in math in English. – for Computer Science program applicants only
Passing an internal B2 level English language test in case of absence of the language certificate (or a document proving that medium of instruction in previous education institution has been English for more than 1 year)
About application timeframes and process:
After applying and providing all the required documents, an applicant will be invited to the 5-minute interview within three business days.
After successful completion of the above-mentioned steps, an applicant will receive a letter of interview confirmation and a letter of conditional acceptance with the listed conditions, within two business days.
After initiating the payment, the admissions office will further process the application and submit it to the Ministry of Education of Georgia. The official results are normally available within one month.
Invitation letters will be sent to successfully admitted students within 3 business days after receiving confirmation from the ministry about the enrollment.
